Makesoul works with brands, founders, agencies, and organizations to bring ideas to life. From developing concepts and shaping creative direction to managing production and delivering the final work, the studio approaches every project with both creative vision and practical thinking.
The Founder
Jemy is a multidisciplinary creative with an academic foundation in Fine Arts, majoring in Advertising, complemented by postgraduate studies in Marketing Management.
Jemy began her creative career in Southeast Asia, gaining early experience in Manila's editorial and publishing industry with leading fashion titles including MEGA Magazine, part of the publishing group behind Vogue Philippines and Preview Magazine.
Her career grew from working with independent businesses in Manila and Lucena to collaborating with major Philippine brands and organizations, including SM Supermalls and Camella Homes. Her experience expanded across commercial campaigns, fashion shows, large-scale events, and multidisciplinary productions, taking on increasingly complex projects and creative leadership responsibilities.
Her regional experience also extended to Indonesia, collaborating with teams headquartered in Singapore and coordinating with suppliers in China on packaging and production. This exposure shaped her understanding of creative work beyond execution, from brand development and cross-border collaboration to the operational demands of bringing ideas to life.
Since 2018, her work has ranged from photographing CEOs, founders, and business leaders to directing large-scale commercial campaigns. This includes recurring productions for Camella Homes, one of the Philippines' largest residential developers, involving more than 120 people on location.
Now based in Toronto, Jemy works with brands, agencies, and organizations across Canada and internationally. Her assignments have taken her to the United States, including West Palm Beach, Florida, where she was engaged by Workplay Branding for an on-site video production project and create social-first content for Entreprenista Founders Weekend
Her work spans fashion, retail, real estate, beauty, hospitality, publishing, and events. Having worked across creative execution, production leadership, and marketing, she brings an understanding of both the creative and commercial demands of a project.
